Handover & After-Care
The Beginning of Your Story
Typical Duration: Ongoing
Handover & After-Care
Practical Completion is the moment your home is certified as complete and ready for occupation. Before handover, our team conducts a thorough internal inspection to compile a defects list (items to be rectified). You are invited to a joint practical completion inspection alongside our supervisor and building certifier. Once all items are resolved to your satisfaction, your keys are formally handed over. The journey doesn't end there. Under South Australian law, builders carry a statutory structural warranty of 5 years. OZ Dream Homes voluntarily provides an extended 10-year structural warranty on all our homes, reflecting our absolute confidence in our craftsmanship. Our after-care team is available for the 90-day defects liability period and well beyond.
